CAMP FACILITIES

The San Gabriel Valley Family Center manages two overnight camping facilities, Camp Voorhis-Viking in the Mammoth Lakes Area and Pine Mountain Camp in the San Bernardino National Forest. 

The San Gabriel Valley Family Center seeks to provide outdoor camping opportunities to disadvantage youth and their families. It is our goal for campers to gain the opportunity to use their eyes to experience the beauty of the world beyond their urban homes; use their minds to learn about and absorb the wonders of the natural environment; and use their hands to take action to protect and preserve our natural resources.  Participation in camp potentially provides a key to open the hearts and minds of our youth to a range of alternative life choices beyond the confining cycle of poverty they are growing up within. 

Donations are accepted to help defray camp costs increasing camp access to our youth in need.
